Our Place exhibition opening

We had a great opening night for the ‘Our Place’ exhibition! Sixty artworks from local artists captured the place we call home, from local landscapes to favourite spots around the house and around the town.

Two prizes were awarded by the judging panel, the Kildallon Art Prize won by Nic Mason with her interior scene 'View to Up and Down', and the Little Art Prize won by Donna Mitchell with her local landscape 'No Ordinary Place'. Highly Commended special mentions were given to Diane Pirotta for her 'Gang Gang Cockatoo at Burralow Creek, Kurrajong', and Jenny Macnaughton for her watercolour painting 'Down Mayne Street, Gulgong'.

Our Place is part of the Kildallon Events Calendar, proudly funded by the NSW Government through EnergyCo’s Community and Employment Benefit Program. The exhibition will be open at the Country Universities Centre, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, from Friday 28 November to Sunday 8 February.
