Shapes Exhibition

The Shapes exhibition at CUC Mudgee Region opened on February 27, with 86 artworks from 45 local artists. The exhibition featured an especially vibrant and colourful collection of works from both young and experienced artists, ranging from abstract designs to shapes spotted around the house, in nature, and even in the fruit bowl. The two prize winners were Janet Marcus, winning the Kildallon Art Prize with her Gulgong scene Try Angles, and Jayne Blake, winning the Little Art Prize with a dynamic digital work titled In My Mind. Most unexpectedly, the winners were mother and daughter artists! The exhibition will be open Monday to Friday and on select weekend dates until 10 May. Shapes is part of the Kildallon Events Calendar, proudly funded by the NSW Government through EnergyCo’s Community and Employment Benefit Program.
