University 101

Progressing from high school to University is a big change! CUC Mudgee Region presented University 101 as an approachable introduction to tertiary education for senior high school students. Nearly thirty Year 11 and 12 students from Mudgee High School and Dunedoo Central School attended the event. University 101 brought together Charles Sturt University representatives, current students, a university lecturer, and a psychologist specialising in stress. Together, the presenters provided a broad introduction to university, from online study to campus social activities, from excelling in assignments to managing stress. This event was made possible through funding from the Nutrien Community Grants Program from Nutrien Ag Solutions and the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal.
